Maple Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Bacon

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 4 Slices Bacon, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp maple syrup
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 Cup Pecans, roughly chopped, for extra crunch Optional

Instructions
 

Preheat Oven:

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Prepare Brussels Sprouts:

  • Place Halved Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Toss to coat evenly.

Add Bacon:

  • Sprinkle chopped bacon over the Brussels sprouts.

Roast:

  • Roast for 20 minutes, stirring halfway through.

Add Maple Syrup:

  • Drizzle maple syrup (and add pecans, if using) over the Brussels sprouts, and toss gently to coat. Roast for an additional 5-10 minutes, until the Brussels sprouts are caramelized and the bacon is crispy.
