Spread Russian dressing on one side of each slice of rye bread.
Assemble the Sandwich:
On one slice of bread, layer a slice of Swiss cheese, corned beef, sauerkraut, and the second slice of Swiss cheese. Top with the other slice of bread, dressing side down.
Grill the Sandwich:
Spread softened butter on the outside of each slice of bread. Heat a skillet over medium heat and place the sandwich in the pan.
Cook to Perfection:
Grill for about 3-4 minutes on each side, pressing lightly with a spatula, until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
